CHOICER VOICER

Terms of Use

These terms apply to this website, its Studio, Pack Maker, voice-pack pages, and Multiplayer Mode. By using these features, you agree to these terms.

Last updated: August 14, 2026

1. Using this website

This website provides browser-based tools for importing voice packs, recording replacement dialogue, playing and exporting finished dubs, building pack ZIP files, and sharing recorded takes in temporary multiplayer rooms.

If you do not agree to these terms, do not use this website or create or join a multiplayer room. If you are not legally able to agree to these terms yourself, use this website only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.

2. Local files and browser processing

Voice-pack ZIP files, source videos, images, original dialogue, backing tracks, solo recordings, and exports are processed or stored on your device. Pack Maker source files are processed in your browser and are not uploaded by the editor.

Browser storage is not permanent. Imported packs and local preferences may be lost when you clear site data, change browsers or devices, use private browsing, run out of storage, or when the browser removes stored data. Keep your own copy of anything you need.

3. Community packs and intellectual property

Community packs may be created and published by independent authors on third-party websites. This website does not claim ownership of those packs or of the films, programs, characters, dialogue, music, images, trademarks, or other material they may contain.

You are responsible for checking a pack's source, license, credits, content warnings, and usage restrictions. A link or import option does not mean that this website owns, endorses, sponsors, or is affiliated with that material.

When using the Pack Maker, you must have the rights or permission needed to process, modify, export, and share the video, audio, images, subtitles, and other material you provide.

4. Your recordings and exports

You keep any rights you have in recordings you make. You are responsible for what you record, export, and share, including obtaining permission before recording another person or using another person's voice.

Do not include private, confidential, or sensitive information in a recording. A finished export may combine your recording with third-party pack material, and you are responsible for determining whether you may publish or distribute that result.

5. Multiplayer rooms

Multiplayer Mode stores the room code, player name, selected role, readiness and progress state, a SHA-256 fingerprint of the selected pack ZIP, and the recorded voice takes needed to assemble the room's dub. The pack ZIP, pack video, images, original dialogue, and backing track are not uploaded to the room service.

You grant this website a limited, non-exclusive, temporary permission to store, process, transmit, and make your room recordings available to other players in the same room. This permission is only for operating the multiplayer feature.

Players in the room may receive, play, and locally export the shared recordings. Share room codes and invite links only with people you trust. Deleting a server copy cannot delete a recording that another player has already downloaded, exported, or recorded separately.

6. Temporary audio storage

Multiplayer recordings are temporary and are automatically deleted within 24 hours of upload. They may be deleted sooner when a room expires, is closed, or is removed. Recordings are not backed up, and this website is not a permanent storage service.

Leaving a room does not necessarily delete every shared take immediately because the remaining players may still need it to finish the room. Basic room metadata may remain briefly while the room is active or awaiting cleanup.

7. Acceptable use

You must not use this website to:

Rooms, recordings, or access may be removed when reasonably necessary to enforce these rules, protect users, respond to a legal request, or maintain the service.

8. Third-party services and links

This website may use third-party providers for hosting, temporary room storage, analytics, fonts, embedded media, advertisements, and external voice-pack links. Those providers may process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

This website does not control third-party downloads, pages, advertisements, or services and is not responsible for their content, security, availability, purchases, or privacy practices.

9. Availability and disclaimers

This website is provided as available. Browser support, microphone permissions, device performance, network conditions, storage limits, codecs, and third-party services may affect whether a feature works. Exports may fail, take time, or use different formats on different devices.

To the extent permitted by law, the operator of this website is not responsible for lost recordings, lost packs, failed exports, unavailable rooms, third-party content, or other indirect loss resulting from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Changes and contact

These terms may be updated when features, storage behavior, third-party services, or legal requirements change. The updated page will show a new date. Continuing to use this website after an update means you accept the revised terms.
